Community sponsorships

Increase your company’s brand visibility and spotlight your commitment to community by sponsoring key programs and flagship productions that open doors to professionally oriented theatre experiences for thousands of families and theatregoers each year.

Silicon Valley Shakespeare (SVS) is a nonprofit theatre company, based in the South Bay and founded in 1999 with the explicit mission to provide financially accessible theatre to those who would otherwise be shut out, widening access to classical and classics-inspired theatre for our entire community.

Joining the SVS Community Circle with a community sponsorship connects your company or organization with an innovative, award-winning, forward-thinking performing arts organization that centers arts access for all, combining bold accessibility programs with artistically rigorous, culturally relevant work.

What We Do

  • A FREE Shakespeare-in-the-Park production in San José’s Willow Street Frank Bramhall Park.

  • Two summer productions (one Shakespeare and one non-Shakespeare classic/classics-inspired), performed in rotating repertory in Saratoga’s Sanborn Park. Productions are ticketed for adults and free for kids 17 and under.

  • An immersive, site-specific production of A Christmas Carol, held at a historic South Bay venue.

  • A 48-hr Play Festival of 6 world-premiere new works that are written, rehearsed, and performed by Bay Area playwrights, directors, and actors.
