Our original production Folktales From Around the World is now available to watch on demand. Simply purchase your video on-demand ticket now and then watch the show online anytime through January 31, 2022.

Adventure and heartwarming lessons come to life as writers from across the country bring the magic of tales passed through the centuries from the page to the screen.

Featuring the creative talents of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color writers, actors, composers, and visual artists, this one-of-a-kind multimedia storytelling event is sure to be an exhilarating ride for the whole family.

In the SVS Book Club, book lovers can join together to appreciate and celebrate the diverse ways in which authors have adopted works by Shakespeare and other classic authors over the centuries.

This year, we’ll explore retellings of classic folktales from Mexico, India, and Cuba, with one middle-grade fantasy adventure novel and two picture books for kids and adults.

Joining is simple! Just read the book, then log in for the live Zoom meeting on the day of discussion. You can also join our Facebook group in advance to share your thoughts, dig deeper, and get the conversation started.
