Parking and Public Transportation

There is metered parking available on the surrounding streets, which are operational Monday – Saturday until 6:00pm. Street parking is free after 6:00pm. Be aware that some neighborhoods surrounding the University require permits to park. There is a public parking garage on the corner of Fourth and San Fernando Streets above Flames restaurant which charges a flat $5 fee after 6:00pm. We encourage you to take advantage of public transportation. San José State University is located close to VTA Local Bus Routes as well as Light Rail.

Seating Information

The Hal Todd Theatre is a flexible space which seats 140 guests. Seating is general admission and is selected by you on arrival on a first-come, first-served basis. The house will open 30 minutes prior to the scheduled performance time. The facility is fully wheelchair accessible.


Concessions are available one half-hour before show time through the end of intermission. Available items include prepackaged snacks, water, and a variety of sodas. Limited edition Silicon Valley Shakespeare merchandise will also be available.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=””]
